Thursday May 21: ONE day till departure!

Today has been a VERY long day after waking up at 5:00am (not my strong suit to be a morning person) and getting to the local TV station WLFI TV18 by 6:00am for a live interview. You can view the brief 3 minute segment at http://wlfi.com/2015/05/21/purdue-101-speech-language-and-hearing-sciences-department-heads-to-zambia/

We then had a Skype conversation with one of our community partners who had requested a change in schedule just yesterday and we have a new and improved schedule all set – yay!!!!!

Then of course we had class as usual and today the students first practiced their third professional presentation. Then the undergraduate students learned how to do hearing aid listening checks…..
